STRANGE RELATIONS

I have synesthesia, an involuntary merging of the senses.  This inspires in my work the use of unexpected juxtapositions to deconstruct accepted systems of classification and meaning. Many of my works depict absurd comparisons of humans, plants, and technology that reflect personal associations, for example, roses with eyelashes. Strange Relations is an ongoing series involving the pairing of unexpected images or concepts through one or multiple images.
