In this section of the exhibition, five of the scores are presented as light boxes with accompanying sound. The glass on each light box is etched with the lines of the staff and as the song progresses, the lines flicker on and off, showing just the photograph and then revealing the image as a score. In some of the pieces, separately recorded interpretations by different musicians were overlapped, revealing similarities and differences in interpretation.
